In-Person Gathering Policy
Effective August 22, 2022
We recognize there is no substitute for the life-enriching power of in-person twin connections. Moving forward, TTSGI is committed to resuming in-person gatherings without the need for a COVID waiver.
Expectations for In-Person Event Attendees
- Each attendee is responsible for taking whatever measures they believe are necessary to protect themselves and others from exposure to the COVID-19 virus. We are a supportive community of grieving twins, and it is our responsibility to look out for one another.
- Participants should not attend an in-person event if they have any indication of COVID-19 symptoms, test positive for COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone with symptoms or someone suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.
- By registering for a live, in-person event, you agree to follow all safety protocols requested by the organizer of the event and by the event venue at the time of the event.
- It is strongly recommended that all participants be fully vaccinated prior to attending an in-person live event. Vaccines have proven effective in eliminating the most serious COVID health risks for most people.
Expectations for Regional Coordinators
- Regional Coordinators (RCs) will follow current CDC guidance while planning meetings to minimize the risk of COVID transmission.
- RCs will take all appropriate COVID precautionary measures in accordance with local policies in their specific regions at the time of their in-person events.
- RCs will communicate the following information in their correspondence with in-person event attendees:
-
- Each attendee is responsible for taking whatever measures they believe are necessary to protect themselves and others from exposure to the COVID-19 virus.
- An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.
- TTSGI cannot guarantee that you will never get exposed to the virus or get sick from it. By attending a TTSGI event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 AND release TTSGI from any liabilities related to COVID-19.
- Participants should not attend an in-person event if they have any indication of COVID-19 symptoms, test positive for COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone with symptoms or someone suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.
