Twinless Twins Support Group International (TTSGI) is dedicated to supporting twins and other multiples who have lost their twin due to death or estrangement at any age. We gather to listen, to care, to support, to encourage and to "heal by helping each other". Our greatest strength as twinless twins is the unity we find in shared experiences that leads us out of isolation and gives us the hope that, together, we can make it.

We are a non-profit organization that depends on charitable donations from twinless twins, our friends and family and the community to fund our organization so we can continue to reach out to all twinless twins. At our International Conference at Toronto, Canada in July, TTSGI is having a Memory Walk.

We would like to take this opportunity to raise funds to support our mission of "healing through helping others" so that no twin ever has to walk alone. Please join us in helping our organization by asking friends, family and businesses to support TTSGI with a flat donation so that our organization will continue to be there, just as it has been for hundreds of twinless twins over the years. 

No donation is too great or too small. . . every amount helps.

**I realize that some of you will not be able to join us in Toronto. *You do not need to be an actual participant in our walk to take part in this fund-raiser. You can still participate by collecting donations in memory of your twin for TTSGI and another twinless twin, who will be there, will carry the name of your twin on our Memory Walk. You may also choose to walk where you live.  (Donations are optional and not required to participate in the walk in Toronto).  Remember all donations are tax deductible in the United States.  Twinless Twins Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization making your contribution tax deductible within the limits of the law.

Many companies have a matching gifts program.  Matching gifts are a great way to increase the amount of money you can raise.  You can check with your company's human relations department to see if they have such a program in place.

You may copy the sample letter below to send to your friends and family (or you may choose to write your own letter). The donation sheet will help you keep track of your donations.  Please indicate on the donation sheet if you will be attending the conference and be sure to put your twin’s name along with your name on the sheet. That donation sheet, along with your donations, should be sent to Sandy Goad, Chairman of the Memory Walk. If it is possible, Sandy would like to have all your donations mailed to her by July 1. Please do not send cash.

This walk is not just about you and me, but it is also about all the twinless twins that have not yet found us and all the twins who will lose their twins in the future.  Our Memory Walk is one way of ensuring that we will be able to financially continue to help those twinless twins.  50% of the funds raised from this walk will go into the TTSGI general fund for the continued development and growth of the organization and the other 50% will go into our Scholarship and Conference Assistance Funds to help financial needy twins with membership fees, purchasing twin loss books and assisting them in coming to a conference.

Dr Brandt, who was the founder of this organization, had a passion to help every twinless twin.  He invested his time in us and TTSGI has continued his vision by reaching out in compassion to other twins who are on their journey through grief.  We have made a difference in many lives.

I challenge each twin reading this to make yourself available to help continue to fund this organization.  I read something recently that said,  "The best use of our life is love and the best expression of our love is time".  By taking some time to raise money in memory of your twin for this organization, you will be giving other twinless twins one of the greatest gifts you can give someone and that is your time."

Since losing my twin, I have found a compassionate support group for other twins who have also lost their twin called Twinless Twins Support Group International (TTSGI). TTSGI is dedicated to supporting twins and other multiples who have lost their twin due to death or estrangement at any age.

We gather regionally and nationally to listen, to care, to support, to encourage and to heal by helping each other. Our greatest strength as twinless twins is the unity we find in shared experiences that leads us out of isolation and gives us the hope that, together, we can make it.



Because we are a non-profit organization, we depend on donations from twinless twins, their family and friends and the community to fund our organization so we can continue to reach out to twinless twins. Every day contact is made to TTSGI seeking help for the unique aloneness and grief a newly twinless twin feels. On Friday, July 11, TwinlessTwins will be having a Memory Walk at our International Conference in Toronto, Canada.
